The Beginning of Sage Electrical Services LLC

Sage Electrical Services LLC was formed in August of 2010. It was born out of an ideology that we could provide safe and conscientious licensed electrical workers on commercial or industrial projects to offer business owners competitively priced expertise for their project needs, on-time and on-budget.

With a well-established network of industrial and commercial clients and a few very good electricians, we set ourselves to operate this niche shop. We maintain a staff of electricians and technicians to expertly support medium to large projects, while maintaining our focus on safety, exemplary customer service, software and office management, maintenance and repair of shop equipment and assets, and rigorous employee training. We are proud to provide good stable job opportunities for skilled journeymen Electricians as well as newly hired Apprentices in this regional market.

Our experienced team is prepared to provide quality work on all plant systems, including high voltage transformers, distribution systems, automation projects, general use office power and lighting. At Sage, we excel at communication systems that include copper and fiber solutions as well as wireless systems. We stay up to date with factory automation products and software for the design, use, and enhancement of plant control processes and equipment.

We have extensive experience across many industries, taking many projects to satisfactory completion, including commercial electrical projects in restaurants, hotels, retail centers, municipal buildings, municipal service area projects, schools, and institutional projects.

Mark Nix

I began my career in 1979, as a United States Navy Electrician’s Mate. Upon Honorable Discharge, I began working in the civilian sector in the electrical construction industry. Because of my passion for installation, troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment and automated control systems, I migrated towards the industrial areas of electrical work, developing and advancing in many industrial electrical skill sets. I am a Licensed Master Electrician (1992) and a Certified Electrical Inspector (1993).

In 1995, I formed and served as President of an electrical contracting firm. I was the Senior Industrial Project Manager and Chief Financial Officer for this firm that employed up to 45 tradesmen and staff with budgets in excess of $5-7 million annually. In 2010, I seized the opportunity to move beyond that firm and build my own company, Sage Electrical Services.
